MoC with Japanese company in the presence of Chief Minister
Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi has discussed with the Japanese business delegation at the Convention Center of Lok Seva Bhavan regarding investment in Odisha and especially the growth of green economy. On this occasion, a Memorandum of Cooperation (MoC) was signed with ACME Group and IHI Corporation. These two companies have taken steps to set up 3 projects in Odisha. The total investment value is about Rs. 67,000 crore and this will create 7,600 employment opportunities.
Representatives of international companies like ACME, IHI and MITSUBISHI attended the event. On this occasion, the Chief Minister extended a special invitation to IHI Corporation to set up a 'Japanese Green Engineering and Innovation Center' in the state and to MITSUBISHI Corporation to invest in the green chemicals and sustainable energy sector. The next chapter of Odisha's industrial growth will now be driven by technology, innovation and green economy. The Hon'ble Chief Minister said on this occasion that Odisha will be transformed into a 'Global Green Hub' with the application of modern technology.
