12 June 2024 , exactly two years ago today, with the immense mercy of Lord Jagannath and your blessings and unbreakable trust, a new era of good governance was inaugurated in the state. As a son of this soil, I got the sacred responsibility of serving you under the guidance of Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji.
With the dedicated mind of a volunteer, the journey that I started from becoming a teacher to Sarpanch and later as MLA to becoming a companion of people in their ups and downs, today I have maintained that service spirit unshakable even after being in the highest responsibility of the state. Your unconditional love and blessings are my real strength. I am one of you; your brother, your son, your Mohan. For me, this Chief Minister post is not a seat of power, but a holy medium of public service.
In the last two years, this 'people's government' of ours has not only governed, but also through service, dedication and good governance, it has also been able to destroy the faith of every Odia. From village to city, farm to industry, education to health; behind the new trend of development that is flowing today in every field, your invaluable blessings and cooperation. The journey of this two years is not just a calculation of time; it is a committed sacrifice of service, dedication and building a prosperous Odisha. My dream is to build a prosperous, empowered and developed Odisha. This dream is not only mine, it is a collective pledge of four and a half crore Odias.
Come, by devoting ourselves completely in the service of Utkal Janani, let us accelerate this trend of development through group efforts. Every moment of my life has been dedicated to the service of this holy land and will always be. Your endless love and trust is my only resource in this journey of development. You are the real heroes of this non-stop service sacrifice.
