Sports are not limited to medals, records or victories and defeats, but it teaches discipline, teamwork and perseverance in facing adverse situations in life, said Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi while participating in the inauguration ceremony of the two-day 'Chintan Shivir' organized by the Sports and Youth Affairs Department.
Chintan Shivir organized for the development of sports in the state:-
✅ Roadmap will be given importance for revolutionary change in the field of sports
✅ Emerging talents will be selected from rural areas through 'Chief Minister's Trophy'
✅ 'World Athletics Silver' competition will be held in Odisha this year
✅ Odisha's girls will appear in the list of world champions by 2036
"Not only as good organizers, Odisha's sportsmen will be at the top of the list of global champions"
