On the auspicious occasion of Maha Vishuba Sankranti and Odia New Year, on the occasion of "Odia Pakhya Inauguration-2026" organized at OUAT Krishi Shiksha Sadan, Hon'ble Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi has not only to limit Odia language, literature and culture to 14 days, but also to make it an integral part of their lifestyle throughout the year. Economic prosperity has no meaning without a cultural foundation. Remembering the historic struggle for the protection of Odia language and culture, the Hon'ble Chief Minister has said that this movement has strengthened our national identity. Efforts have been made to awaken Odia Asmita at every level of society through the observance of 'Odia Pakhya' which started from Utkal Divas this year.
