Hon'ble Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi has inaugurated 3 new grid substations and 8 vital transmission lines at Balianta to globalize the electricity supply system of Bhubaneswar. This is a strong step by the government towards ensuring uninterrupted, high quality and reliable electricity supply in the capital. Hon'ble Chief Minister said on this occasion that as a result, the overall development of industry, business, IT and urban life will be accelerated.
Quality electricity service is ensured for the people:-
✅OptCL inaugurated 3 new grid substations, 8 critical transmission lines
✅About 22 lakh users will be benefited
✅The people of the capital will get world class quality electricity services
✅Balanta, Satyanagar, and Cuttack S worth 600 crores within a year. C.B. Medical grid sub station work completed

Hon'ble Chief Minister has also taken initiative by shedding light on the restoration of adjacent rivers of Bhubaneswar on this occasion.
Honorable Chief Minister's announcement:-
✅ Various rivers of Bhubaneswar and adjacent areas will be restored
✅300 crore rupees for Prachi river, 75 crores for Dhanua in second phase, 170 crores for Daya river, 400 crores sanctioned for Daya west canal
✅ By 2030, Bhubaneswar's electricity demand will be doubled, from 1 thousand megawatt to 2 thousand megawatts
