Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has launched a nationwide vaccination campaign from Ajmer, Rajasthan, to prevent Human Papillomavirus (HPV) infection. Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi attended the state-level program held at Krushi Bhawan. The Chief Minister stated that the HPV prevention vaccine is a landmark step toward protecting the health and future of our daughters.
Key Highlights of the Initiative:
✅ Protection Against Cancer: This vaccine will protect girls from cervical cancer.
✅ Target Population: Approximately 3.36 lakh girls in the state, aged between 14 and 15 years, will benefit from this campaign.
✅ Free of Cost: The vaccine is being provided entirely free of charge.
✅ Emergency Healthcare Boost: In addition to the vaccination drive, 28 new 108 ambulances were inaugurated to enhance emergency medical services.
