Chief Minister Hands Over Appointment Letters to 1,326 Newly Recruited Candidates at 16th Job Fair
A new chapter has been added to the journey of building a prosperous and developed Odisha. At the 16th Job Fair held at the Rail Auditorium in Bhubaneswar, the Hon’ble Chief Minister handed over appointment letters to 1,326 newly appointed officers and employees from nine departments. The State Government continues its efforts to fulfil the hopes and aspirations of the youth and provide them with transparent, efficient and merit-based employment opportunities. Through this recruitment drive, which began in June 2024, more than 45,000 young people have so far been appointed to government service.
The primary objective of government service is public service. It is your moral responsibility to ensure the timely resolution of people’s problems and grievances. Whenever a person approaches you with a problem, true public service means listening to their concerns with respect, as a part of the administration, and taking prompt action to resolve them. Our goal is to ensure that all government facilities and benefits reach people at the last mile, particularly those at the bottom of society. Keeping this objective in mind, the Hon’ble Chief Minister advised the newly appointed officers and employees to work with dedication and commitment.
