Hon'ble Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi attended the program organized at the Central Rice Research Institute (CRRI) premises in Cuttack today on the occasion of Holy Akshaya Vriday and State Farmers' Day.

Today, on the occasion of auspicious Akshay Tritiya and State level Farmers' Day, I am very happy to participate in the program organized in the premises of Central Paddy Research Center (CRRI) in Cuttack. On this auspicious occasion, I am very happy to launch the 'Bramyaman Beehan Rath' (Seeds on Wheels) to provide support amount to the food donor brothers and sisters of the state in the 'CM-Kisan' scheme and to deliver advanced seeds at the doorstep of the farmers. It was an inspiring experience for me that I had the opportunity to interact directly with our food donors while visiting the agricultural exhibition.
Agriculture is not just a profession, it is the foundation of our lifestyle and economy. In today's program, we have taken a step forward towards building a prosperous Odisha by providing scholarship to the talented students of farmers' families. It is the commitment of our government to provide a handful of earnings to the food donors and to provide quality technical education to the children. With the infinite mercy of Lord Jagannath, may the coming autumn season be auspicious for everyone and may the agriculture and farmers of the state prosper.
