In a special program organized at Rayagarh aimed at strengthening the transportation system of rural areas of the state, in the presence of Hon'ble Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Union Agriculture and Rural Development Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi inaugurated the 'Fourth phase of Prime Minister's Village Road Plan' (PMGSY-IV). ✅ More than 1700 crore projects approved in PMGSY-4 ✅898 villages of 8 districts will get 1702 km of paved roads It is impossible to imagine a prosperous Odisha without the development of rural areas. The state government is aiming to include unorganized villages in the main stream through PMGSY-IV. Honorable Chief Minister has said on this occasion that 898 villages of 8 districts like Kandhamal, Kendujhar, Khordha, Koraput, Malkangiri, Nabarangpur, Rayagarh and Sambalpur will be provided with paved roads. On this occasion, Hon'ble Chief Minister has announced many new road projects for Rayagarh district and inaugurated multiple drinking water and infrastructure projects. Rayagada development: Inauguration and foundation stone laying of more than 200 crore projects ✅Foundation of 13 new projects more than 104 crore rupees ✅ 630 crore provision for Odisha in Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (rural) ✅Prime Minister sanctioned 30 crore rupees for Odisha in agricultural irrigation-water dividing development component Central Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said on this occasion that, comprehensive development and progress are the main symbol of the current government. He has said firmly that no village will be deprived of basic facilities. He stated that the central government has the aim of making every agriculture-based village of Odisha as a 'Seed Village'.
