Seventh sitting of the 17th session of the Odisha Legislative Assembly begins; Chief Minister pays tribute to the departed former member.

The seventh sitting of the 17th session of the Odisha Legislative Assembly commenced formally today. On the opening day of the session, Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi participated in the proceedings and moved obituary motions paying tribute to departed former members and other eminent personalities. While recalling their significant contributions to the state's development and public service, the Chief Minister extended his deepest condolences to the bereaved families.

The Chief Minister expressed the view that this session of the Legislative Assembly would prove crucial in accelerating the state's economic progress, social welfare, and the formulation of various public-interest policies.
