Participated in the 48th annual state level Pala Sammilan organized at Parklane of Kendujhar district. 'Pala' is intensely connected with Odisha's rich rich history and public life is not just a folk art, but it is a living identity of our culture and Odia Asmita. The sincere contribution of Pala singers and Bayaks in bringing the ancient Odia poetry literature to the general public in a refined rhythm is incomparable.
Seeing eminent artists from different parts of the state gathered on one stage today is an auspicious sign towards our cultural development. It is a collective responsibility of all of us to protect, propagate-disseminate and especially to create interest in it among the younger generation. I believe that this Saraswat Mahayagya organized in the soil of Keunjhar will spread our great tradition further and strengthen Odia Asmita in the world court.
