A new chapter was added in the quality education sector of the state.

A new chapter was added in the quality education sector of the state. Hon'ble Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi participated in a special program organized at Banapur of Khordha district and laid the foundation stone of 118 Godavarish Mishra Adarsh Primary Schools in the state.

One primary school in each panchayat will be developed as an ideal primary school under the Godavarish Mishra Ideal Primary School. Schools will be given a new look and education through cutting edge knowledge techniques. The school will have facilities like modern classrooms, digital equipment and sports equipment. Basic literacy and numeracy skills will be encouraged under "Nipun Odisha". The aim of this school will be to make every student master the basic literacy and numeracy skills by the third standard.
