Launch of 330 Projects Worth ₹1,292 Crore in Keonjhar; Third Phase of the Godabarish Mishra Adarsha School Scheme Inaugurated.

Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi, during his visit to Keonjhar today, launched the third phase of the ‘Godabarish Mishra Adarsha Primary School Scheme’ and inaugurated and laid the foundation stones for 330 important projects worth ₹1,292 crore aimed at the development of the state and the district.
With a focus on strengthening the foundation of primary education through world-class infrastructure, several transformative initiatives have been undertaken, prioritising higher education, modern healthcare facilities, and employment opportunities for local youth.

Key Highlights:

✅ Third Phase of the Godabarish Mishra Adarsha Primary School Scheme: Foundation stones laid for 630 new Godabarish Mishra Adarsha Schools across the state.
✅ Tech-Business Park: Foundation stone laid for a 15-storey Tech-Business Park, which will provide employment opportunities to local youth in their own region.
✅ Dharanidhar University: South Campus inaugurated, along with the distribution of free NCMC bus cards to facilitate convenient transportation for students.
✅ Preventive Cancer Screening Centre: Inauguration of Odisha’s first fully indigenous Preventive Cancer Screening Centre at Dharanidhar Medical College.
✅ Expansion of Healthcare Education: Foundation stones laid for a Dental College and a Nursing College to strengthen medical education. Additionally, the establishment of a Government Pharmacy College in Keonjhar was announced.
✅ Emergency Healthcare and Urban Sanitation: 23 new ambulances provided to strengthen emergency medical services, along with 26 modern sanitation vehicles to improve urban cleanliness and waste management.
