A society that produces great cinema can strengthen its presence in the world arena, said Hon'ble Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi during an important discussion with eminent personalities and artists from the film world on the current status and future of Odia cinema.
The state government is going to take several steps for the revival and development of the Odia film industry under the Odia Ashmit government. A new 'Film Policy' will be introduced soon. If films are made on basic themes related to Odia life, they can attract the hearts of the people. Money will never be a barrier for the development of Odia cinema and a strong film infrastructure will be created in the state very soon, the Hon'ble Chief Minister said.
