Hon’ble CM Shri Mohan Charan Majhi met Consul General of Japan in Kolkata, Mr Ishikawa Yoshihisa, at Lok Seva Bhawan today and discussed avenues to further strengthen Odisha-Japan partnership in trade, investment, tourism, technology and academic exchanges.
The meeting reaffirmed the shared commitment of #Odisha and #Japan to deepen cooperation through a ‘Sister State’ partnership between Odisha and Japan’s Tottori Prefecture, with high-level exchanges to follow. Discussions also focused on expanding tourism prospects, especially through Odisha’s Buddhist circuit, and creating greater employment opportunities for Odia youth in Japan.
