Highlights: ✅ A comprehensive agricultural roadmap to be prepared for Odisha, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand and West Bengal ✅ Odisha’s remarkable progress in agriculture and paddy procurement appreciated by the Centre ✅ Focus on natural farming and reduction in chemical fertilisers to protect soil health and crop quality ✅ Revival of traditional ‘Forgotten Foods’ at the block level to preserve indigenous food heritage ✅ Around 19 lakh farmers benefited from ₹3100 MSP for paddy under Samruddha Krushak Yojana ✅ More than 51 lakh farmers receiving financial assistance under CM KISAN along with PM-KISAN support ✅ Major push for cold storages, agri-infrastructure, FPOs and market linkages across the State ✅ Expansion of coffee cultivation and branding of Koraput Coffee for global markets ✅ The roadmap emerging from the conference will further strengthen Hon'ble PM Shri Narendra Modi’s ‘Purvodaya’ vision for Eastern India The conference marks a significant step towards building a resilient, self-reliant and future-ready agricultural ecosystem for farmers across Eastern India.
