The Vidya Nath Parva is being celebrated as a festival in every village and every street of the state. This is encouraging parents to enroll their children, said Hon'ble Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi on the occasion of the state-level entrance ceremony and Khadi Chuan program-2026. On this occasion, the Hon'ble Chief Minister visited the exhibition of content-based educational materials developed for children in various schools under the 'Nipun Odisha' and 'Padhaiba, Gadhaiba Odisha' campaigns. In addition, the Hon'ble Chief Minister distributed educational support kits to the children. Khadi Chuan is a sacred tradition in our Odia culture. We have started this festival to ensure that no child in the state is deprived of education. All steps are being taken to create interest and devotion towards education in the minds of children, not fear. The target is 100 percent enrolment. The Hon'ble Chief Minister said that Anganwadis will be merged with Sishubatikas in a phased manner as per the new education policy and flagged off the Education Awareness Rath on this occasion.
