Hon'ble Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi has joined the 71st Foundation Day of Odisha Mining Corporation. OMC has established itself not only as a commercial entity, but also as a major pillar of economic development of Odisha. The corporation plays a crucial role in the industrialization and economic development of the state by regularly transferring a large part of its profits to the state government. The Hon'ble Chief Minister said on this occasion that OMC is today making a unique contribution to the prosperity of the state and the country by responsibly utilizing the valuable mineral resources in the state. In addition, the Hon'ble Chief Minister launched the newly built permanent campus of Odisha Mining Adarsh Vidyalaya at Kaliapani, 8 modern Basic Life Support Ambulances for the residents of the mining area, Integrated Management and Monitoring Centers and a digital health management system called O-Health. He expressed the hope that all these steps will be of great help towards the welfare of the people in the mining area.
