Hon'ble Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi attended a special program organized in Balangir on the occasion of National Panchayati Raj Day.

Hon'ble Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi participated in the state-level 'National Panchayati Raj Day' programme at Balangir. The Hon'ble Chief Minister said on the occasion that Panchayati Raj institutions are not limited to implementing schemes only, but are also playing a leading role in social, economic, basic service infrastructure, human welfare and natural resource management.
Projects/Facilities Dedicated by the Hon'ble Chief Minister for the People:-
✅ Launch of 304 development projects worth Rs. 580 crore for Balangir district
✅ Foundation stone laid for new Nursing College at Bhimbhoi Medical College
✅ Announcement of establishment of Sugar Mill and Textile Park in Balangir
✅ Distribution of work orders and release of first installment to more than 50,000 beneficiaries under Antayoday Griha Yojana
✅ Launch of 'Panchayati Raj Samayam' Portal and 'e- Panchayat' Sabha Portal
