Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi held discussions with Hon'ble Union Minister for Coal and Mines Shri G. Kishan Reddy at Lok Seva Bhavan regarding strengthening the mineral sector of Odisha and further increasing its contribution to the national economy. Odisha's importance in the mineral economy and industrial growth of the country is constantly increasing. Hon'ble Chief Minister said on this occasion that more active support from the Central Government is needed to accelerate Odisha's growth in this sector.
Hon'ble Chief Minister emphasized on this occasion on the need for accelerated development of railway and port infrastructure to make mining and transportation more efficient and cost-effective. In this meeting, the development of the mining area and the welfare of the local people were discussed.
