7th Edition of Odisha Travel Bazaar Inaugurated in Bhubaneswar; Chief Minister Invites National and International Investors to Invest in the Tourism Sector
Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi inaugurated the 7th edition of Odisha Travel Bazaar in Bhubaneswar, showcasing Odisha’s rich heritage, natural beauty and tourism potential, while inviting national and international investors, hospitality brands and tourism partners to explore the State.
Key measures include Tourist Police at 29 destinations, 1,000 trained lifeguards through OSWALI, a 5,500-acre tourism land bank and ₹1,500 crore provision for 2026–31. The minimum room requirement for star hotels has been reduced to 10, with capital subsidy enhanced up to ₹120 crore. The new Odisha Tourism Portal and Investment Incentive Management System were also launched.
