Hon'ble Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi inaugurated a large apparel manufacturing unit established by Page Industries at Ramdaspur of Cuttack district. This initiative, established with an investment of around 750 crore rupees, has created new employment opportunities for more than 5,800 young men and women.

The state government is focusing on textile and textile industry. In this case, with less investment of capital, more employment opportunities are available. Especially women get more employment.
