17th State-Level Job Fair: Chief Minister Distributes Appointment Letters to 1,101 Newly Appointed Candidates Across 4 Departments

The State Government remains continuously committed to fulfilling the aspirations of the youth and making the administrative system more efficient, responsive and people-centric. At the 17th State-Level Employment Fair held at the OUAT Krushi Shiksha Sadan in Bhubaneswar, Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi attended the event and distributed appointment letters to 1,101 newly appointed personnel across four major departments.

✅ A total of 1,101 new officers have been provided appointment letters, including 814 Medical Officers and 92 Assistant Professors under the Health Department, along with 30 OAS, 42 ORS, 46 OFS, 60 OTAS and 17 officers under the Cooperative Service.
✅ Within just 27 months of forming the government, a record 46,575 young men and women have already been inducted into government service through 17 employment fairs.
✅ The Chief Minister has given the ‘Panchasutri’ (five-point) mantra to officials, urging them to work not as rulers but as ‘public servants’ and to accord the highest priority to ‘Jana Sunani’ (public hearings) for the prompt resolution of people’s grievances at the grassroots level.

On this occasion, a first-of-its-kind age-specific ‘Mental Health Guidebook’ for children and youth, covering stages from pre-primary education to young adulthood, was unveiled in Odisha. Prepared through the joint efforts of the Departments of School and Mass Education, Health and Family Welfare, Women and Child Development, and Skill Development, the guidebook will help strengthen the mental well-being of the state’s younger generation and contribute to their overall development.
