80th State Independence Day Celebrations: CM pays tribute to great freedom fighter

Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi paid tribute to the great freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives for the country's independence and integrity during the observance of the 80th State-level Independence Day - 2026 held in Bhubaneswar.

At this event, the Honorable Chief Minister announced:

✅ Free textbooks were previously provided up to the 8th grade in schools. Now, free textbooks will also be provided for children in the 9th and 10th grades.

✅ Removal of the limit of a maximum of 6 attempts for the Odisha Civil Services Examination. Opportunities will now be available up to the upper age limit.
