Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi inaugurated a modern police station building at Talbonia, Puri and dedicated the police infrastructure built in various parts of the state to the people.

Today, I inaugurated a state-of-the-art police station at Talbania of Puri and inaugurated the police infrastructure built in different parts of the state. In this context, a total of 658 police residential houses were also inaugurated in Bhubaneswar, Cuttack and Jajpur including the SDPO office located in Balugaon of Khordha district, Brahmavarda police station in Jajpur, the administrative building of Third Battalion Koraput and the arsenal house. Our government is always committed to the empowerment of the police force and the welfare of the employees. I am confident that residential facilities will help them to provide faster and better services to the public by keeping them stress free.
Fear free environment and strong law order are the foundation of a progressive society. While our police force is doing admirable work in curbing naxal suppression and drug trafficking, the increase in the rate of convicts under the influence of 'Bharatiya Naya Sanhita' is a huge success. I have given a clear order to the police to be friendly to the public and to have a strict approach to crime. Building a peaceful, secure and prosperous Odisha is the joint pledge of all of us, come, let's make this journey more dynamic with collective efforts.
